Role inside ISAAC
UNOTT coordinates the development of alternative platform scenarios (task 1.3), leads the effort in defining users’ requirements (task 1.4), contribute to defining the EU indexing system (task 1.5) and helps to assess limitations of current technologies (task 1.6). In WP2, UNOTT contributes to revise users’ needs (task 2.1) and assists TXT in first prototype development (task 2.3). In WP3, UNOTT leads development of the framework for a tourist satisfaction assessment software (task 3.3), assists VU-FEWEB in the review of methods for improved decision-making (task 3.4) and TXT in developing and testing the tourist satisfaction software (task 3.5). UNOTT leads the decision support system development and testing (task 3.6). In WP4, UNOTT is involved in task 4.2 on e-cultural heritage and sustainable development and in task 4.3 on shifts to e-services. UNOTT plays an important role in WP5 Dissemination, specifically in tasks 5.2, 5.3 and 5.4, where it is responsible for organizing the final project International Conference. Finally, UNOTT contributes to the scientific reporting and assessment activities in WP6 (tasks 6.1 and 6.2)

Field of activities
UNOTT is one of the leading research-led universities in the UK. It is ranked UK top 10 and global top 75 University. The School of the Built Environment (SBE), where the principle research activities are carried out, has a world class reputation for research. The SBE has a total of 50 academic staff. Both Architecture and Building Technology at the School have been ranked number 1 in the UK by the recent league tables in the Times Higher Education Supplement.
